Kings XI Punjab won by 66 runs | Scorecard

Match No. 10th. A brilliant all-round performance then from the Kings XI as they crushed Mumbai by 66 runs. Sangakkara set it up beautifully with 94. Lee's fiery spell put Mumbai on the backfoot and then Chawla and Co. put the skids on.

As the match ended Sreesanth was crying, I think there was something very seriously wrong had happened. This happened. Harbhajan Slapped Sreesanth. According to news reports harbhajan slapped Sreesanth. So, he is slapped him?

Tendulkar, absence made Mumbai Indians team very powerless and ofcourse fans were more disappionted to see the Living Legend to play. Hope we see him play his next match. Still all fingers crossed.

Mumbai Indians were just manage to score 116/9 in 20 overs against Kings XI Punjab. This has hit there points plus it has serverily damaged there runrate, which can be very crucial as the matches progress.

Earlier on the day Mumbai Indians won the toss and they elected to field first as they did previous time against Chennai Super Kings.

Kings XI scored a decent score batting first. They scored 182 runs in 20 overs thanks to the Sri Lankan Batsmen KC Sangakkara who scored 94 runs in 56 balls. He become the highest scorer of the tournament and he is wearing the orange cap. Kings XI Punjab lost the first wicket at a total of 8 but after that a good partnership between KC Sangakkara and K Goel took the score to 81 runs in 8.1 overs.

Once Goel was out, wickets started to fell and the scoring rate was also on a decline. But KC Sangakkara was the only one who played a responsible innings and took the score to some what more respectable. In the last few overs, few hits to boundaries took the team score to a total of 182 runs.

Harbhajan Singh (3 for 32) was the most successful bowler for the visitors.

Brett Lee was is in fire today, he is bowling in very fast and accurate. His first over gave just 1 runs and his second over rewaded him with the price wicket of Sanath Jayasuriya, he was caught and bowled for just 1 run and in the next ball he ran out his countryman Luke Ronchi (11), breaking the wickets with a splendid throw off his own bowling. Stage was set for other to perform well and win the match and all did the came. Yuvaraj took a stunting catch to remove Shaun Pollock.

Today Mumbai Indiands bating was not up to the mark, wicket were following in regular intervals and in fast pace. Somehow they managed to bat full 20 overs. Young Piyush Chawla (2-16), S Sreesanth (2-31) and Irfan Path (2-19) then chipped in with vital wickets to send the Mumbai side crashing.

So, what next for Mumbai Indians, they are same in the side as Deccan Chagers. Let us see who breaks the point pot first among them.
