The War of the Captains
Bangalorei, India - April 28, 2008
Match No. 15th. Royal Challenger has to win this match so that they can be in a hunt for Semi finals. Super Kings three key players, Australia’s Matthew Hayden and Mike Hussey, and New Zealand’s Jacob Oram, are keen to complete their IPL assignment on a winning note before leaving India to join their respective National teams for official commitments.
Bangalore Royal Challengers and Chennai Super Kings today and will be played at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Chennai Super Kings are on a winning streak and have played excellent cricket so far and have won all the three matches played so far. They are termed as one of the best teams of the tournament where as Bangalore Royal Challengers are in some serious problems after loosing 2 matches so far. Both the teams have to play for something. Chennai Super Kings would like to continue the winning streak where as Bangalore Royal Challengers would like to break the loss jinx.

Royal Challengers have lost both their two home games thus far and would only keen on setting the record straight. Their only win has been against Mumbai Indians last week, but at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, the Challengers’ record has been rather dismal with scores of 82 all out and 135 for eight batting first.
Its a fight between Orange and Yellow Colour, may be Royal Challengers if they win has to better chase the run and do a good job by bowl and fielding. They have to regroup and they should include Misbah in there playing 11, that will make a huge difference.
Bangalore Royal Challengers (probable) 1 Ross Taylor, 2 Rahul Dravid (capt), 3 Jacques Kallis, 4 Misbah-ul-Haq, 5 Virat Kohli, 6 Mark Boucher (wk), 7 Praveen Kumar, 8 B Akhil, 9 Zaheer Khan, 10 Anil Kumble, 11 R Vinay Kumar.
Chennai Super Kings: (probable) 1 Parthiv Patel, 2 Matthew Hayden, 3 Michael Hussey, 4 Suresh Raina, 5 Jacob Oram, 6 Mahendra Singh Dhoni (capt & wk), 7 S Badrinath, 8 Joginder Sharma, 9 Palani Amarnath, 10 Manpreet Gony, 11 Muttiah Muralitharan.
