Match No. 18th. Royals was treated as underdogs but nowthey look very dangerous team to beat. England Mascarenhas also joined the team. On the other hand knight Riders is on back seat as they lost last 2 matches. They are going to miss Brendon McCullum and may not be a miss in case of Ricky Ponting. In form Salman Butt and Brad Hodge will take their places.
Debabrata Das and Laxmi Rattan Shukla were the team's two best batsmen against Mumbai. The team may play Umar Gul, and may leave out Agarkar or Dinda or Karthik. It may be all seam attack. It will be decided on wicket. They have to win this match to be with the top teams in the IPL.
Expect David Hussey to come good, who after the match-winning knock against Deccan Chargers hasn't really fired. Meanwhile Graeme Smith would look to continue his good form upfront with two knocks of 71 and 49 since his arrival.
It's a very hot day for cricket with the thermometer touching 40 degrees. The humidity is low but the strong winds might come to the players' rescue. Dehydration is what most of the players might have to fight, in what might be a slug-fest.
