Mumbai register a record sixth win on a trot in this IPL. They looked out of sorts completely at the start of the tournament but after that, Mumbai has been no less than a revelation. They have done tremendously well under Sachin Tendulkar after he passed his fitness test. Mumbai climb to greater heights thanks to this comprehensive win. Mumbai are sitting pretty in the Top 4 now and they are with a strong chance to give the rest 3 a run for their money too.
Mumbai's total wasn't all that daunting but the kind of start they made with the ball by removing Gilchrist, Afridi and Rohit Sharma early, it ensured that the Deccan side was in with a bleak chance. Venugopal Rao and Ravi Teja stitched a handy partnership but all that was too little and too late. Bravo performed well with the ball too, his fielding standards remained top class and the show he put up today was truly great. He will fly back home tomorrow and what a way it was to end his first season of IPL. Fantastic game as Mumbai rise even higher.
Deccan Chargers continue to find it tough in their own den. Their home jinx continues as they are yet to win one game infront of their home crowd. RP Singh bags the Purple Cap as he becomes the leading wicket taker in this IPL now.
Dwayne Bravo is the Man of the Match for his blistering knock of 30 from 17 balls. He picked up three wickets in a vital spell too.
