Match No. 43rd Result. Delhi Daredevils v Bangalore Royals Challengers
Delhi DareDevils won the match by 5 wickets (with 10 balls remaining). Bangalore is totally out of the tournament. No chance at all. DareDevils picked up 2 valuable points and now have a better chance of making the semi-finals. They have a few tough games coming up but this win will give them plenty of confidence. Maharoof was the allround star and stayed till the end to take them past the finish line.
DareDevils lost wickets far too regularly in the middle of the innings and that gave a slight opening for the Bangalore side to fancy their chances. Dhawan and Maharoof in the end, held their nerves well and helped their side register a win which keeps them in the hunt for the Semi-spot. The tournament is still wide open and it keeps us all the more interested. Hope you enjoyed this game.
Man of the Match: Sreevats Goswami from Royal Challengers, for his fifty on IPL debut. "It was nice to get that score and the crowd was great too, supporting us despite the result. I've been touring U-19 for a few years, coaches have helped me a lot. Mark Boucher has been very supportive, we've worked a lot in the nets."
