Its official Rajasthan Royals is the first team to win a slot for semi-finals after defeating Knight Riders easily. Poor bating and bowling display again, which lead to defeat for Knight Riders. Rajasthan Royals won by 6 wickets (with 21 balls remaining).

More and more people will be disappointed because of today's result. Lots of people are supporting Knight Riders (expect West Bengal) because its a King Khan's team. He is so energitic and full of life but his team is lacking. They tried there best to bounce back but invien.

Batting is not all firing, bowling is not to the mark. Ishant Sharma is sort of failure after he was bought for that huge money. May be next year owners will be in good postion to see and buy.

Ganguly was just playing test match, he tried to hit but caught in the deep. National Selectors will not be seeing his name for next tour. Team is not jelling well and his captiancy is not so great. Its like one dull and low team. No spirit to win. Some how they were able to beat Deccan and Challengers and one of Daredevils team, thats all.

On the other hand, there was a clinical display from the Royals and they didn't put a foot wrong right from the start till the end. Win the toss and put the opponents to bat first was a perfect move keeping in mind that the Knightriders' batting line-up hasn't fired at all in this tournament. Kolkata once again failed to post an imposing total and they lost half the battle there. They started off well with the ball though and at one point looked good to cause a few concerns.

Then walked in the dangerous Yusuf Pathan and he sprinted away with the game in the best possible manner. His hitting was as clean as a whistle and some good support from Kaif who was at the othe other end, ensured that the Royals won comfortably. So then, the Royals seem to be in love with the Top spot and nothing looks strong enough to separate them at the moment.

Kolkata Knightriders have been rather disappointing and once again, they have failed to prove their mettle against a top quality side. With this loss, the hopes of the Kolkata team has been dented further. There's a gleamer of hope to make it to the Semis but one feels that it's hoping for too much. Let the Knightriders win the next two first...
