Rajasthan Royals defeated Kings XI Punjab in there home ground in there 2nd match | Check out the Scorecard Jaipur, India - April 21, 2008

Kings XI won the toss and elected to bat, today Jayawardane is in playing 11. They started, but Munaf Patel gave only 1 run in his first over but Shane Watson was not that lucky he was hit for 19 runs. In the next over Munaf Patel bowled out Goel with a fast yorker. Then came Kumar Sangakkara, he was looking dangerous but Shane Warne came and took bowled and catch. he was out for 19 runs. By 9th over Kings XI was on 73 runs. Shane Warne he back in his old days form and he is rocking Mr. Hollywood. Hopes was out for 16runs. 11 overs is left now, Shane Watson is on. Rajasthan Royals is giving a Royal treatment to Kings XI Punjab. Stadium is full and too noisy. this is a fight for opening accounts for the both the teams in IPL. Kings XI reached 82/4 in 10 overs.

It was a full moon night, but Darren Lehmann droped a sitter of Yuvraj Singh of Shane Warne bowling. He is bowled superly, his figures are still very much poweful, he would have loved Kolkata pitch of yesterday's match. He played like he wants to win and win. Yuvraj Singh and Irfan Pathan are batting it out. Yuvi already got two lifes. He was dropped when he was on 15 and 24 runs.

Yuvraj reached his 50 pretty soon and there was partnership if 50 runs in between him and Patan. Partnership was broken by Share warne LBW, he was out for 57 runs in 34 balls with 6 - 4's and 3 - 6's. Shane Warne figures was 19runs for 3 wicket in 4 overs.

As, Yuvi departed Pathan also followed him, he was bowled by S Trivedi for 12 runs in 19 bowls. Same happened to Bret Lee, he was in and out. Its been a Royal effort from the bowlers and it was rewared too royaly. Munaf Patel's, 18th over was good with few runs scored and there was also a run out in that over.

Crowds were shouting "We wants wicket". Atmostsphere was great and electrifiing, this shows the sucess of IPL. Preity Zinta, ill arun, Neha Dupia and Rohit Roy were present in the stadium to watch the match.

There were few shots in the end of the match and Kings XI posted a total of 166 for 8 wickets. Its a ok total but defendable. Lets see how Jaipur Royals replies.

Bret lee started the bowling, he was fast and attacking but he even gave No Ball for free hit.Kaif had lucky escape og LBW appeal, which was turned down by umpire. Lee Jersey No is 55. S Sreesanth was bought into attack and he gone wicket of Kaif. Yusuf Pathan replaced Kaif and Irfan Pathan dropped his brother's catch, It was diffcuilt but not for international palyers.

S Sreesanth was very aniamated and had few words with Shane Watson and Kamran Akmal. He has to control, it can be in limit. Yuvi has to work on it otherwise they will lose points on best behaviour team point.

As Yusuf Pathan departed then came the match winner Shane Watson. He played superdly, he was a cool and composed customer. He was hiting sixes out park like its a tennis ball. On the process he even broke one of his bat too. That is with Lalit Modi, he may put it for auction who knows.

Crowds were shouting against Sreesanth "Heya Heya Sreesanth". He is losing from all the ends. He should shows is aggrestion by playing and picking up wickets, not by showing to his oppentents. Preity Zinta may be thinking twice now. He was hit all over the park for 6's and 4's. His figure was 3.1 overs for 38 runs, E.Rate 11.99 and in that 2 NB and 3 wides added.

Rajsthan Royals was in a Box seat. Ravindra Jadeja and Shane Watson played superdly and life the game and won the first match for there team. Sharne Watson made 76 runs of 49 balls with five sixes and five 4's. He was declared as Man of the match and awared trophy and 1lacs chque for DLF max sixes. Jadeja made 36 runs of 25 balls with the healp of 5 - 4's and 1-6's. He is good young talent.

So, Rajasthan Royals is back adn with a bang. Guys watch out they will be have more strength from next week as South African Graeme Smith, Younis Khan, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Morne Morkel and Sohail Tanvir is joining the team.
