Chennai Super Kings is rOckinG with 2 straight wins

Mr.Kollywood Dhoni replied to Mr.Bollywood Habbji that he is still the man. It was match you should never miss to watch. It was pretty high scoring match.

This was one of the best game I was wateched for long time, let it be one day's or T20. It was huge score match, 410 runs scored in 40 overs and 12 wickets fell in that process. Total of 14 sixes where hit with large number of fours (42 in total) were hit all over the park. Hayden hit 12 fours and 2 sixes form his 81 runs of 46 balls, which lead him to become the Man of the Match and he collected Rs. 1,000,00/- IND.

Mumbai Indians won the tos but elected to foeld first because of heavy due factor down the lane. Hayden and Parthiv started the match, Parthiv was good and hit 4 fours and got out on the 3 over, score was 34 for 1. Hussey replaced him but he was not able to impress and got out for 5 runs. Things were under control till then, Raina came to field and there was a partnership started to build between him and Hayden.

They added 104 runs in between them and Raina was out c Bravo b Khote for 54 runs of 37 bowls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. His strike rate was very good - 143.24. There was only 5 overs left when Dhoni steps in with crowds shouting "Dhoni Dhoni", he has become very popular guy in down south too. Who knows he may getting a chance to act in Tamil movies too. Luck is on his side.

Dhoni made a quick 30 runs of 16 bowls with 1 six and 4 fours, with strike rate of 187.50. he was also out by same pair whcih got Raina, i.e - c Bravo b Khote. Till this time Hayden was in totally swings his bat and hiting all parts of park. He was run out by non other than his good friend Harbhajan Singh.

Indians bowling was not that perfect, they gave lots of runs and fielding was also lacking. There ace bowler Pollock was hit badly, he bowled only 3 over for 32 runs.

Super Kings posted target 209 for Mumbai Indians to win.



After 10 mins gap, Mumbai Indians came out to chase and win the game. Jayasuriya opened with Ronchi(wk) but he a brilantly runout by Badrinath for just 2 runs. Indians score was just 9 runs on the board in the first over. It was a big set back when they are chasing such a big total, when Sachin Tendulkar is not playing too.

Jayasuriya started his fire works and hit 4 fours in that process and made just 20 runs and his cracks got finished and thats, he went for huge six but the bowl went very high in the air and Joginder Sharma b Gony. Hopes started to fade as he walked out of ground. Dont't go away out own Uthappa is there, he is very impressive player. He proved that today also. He was going big gun and made 43 of 36 bowls and he was credited to hit 100th six in the IPL T20, 2008 tournament. His luck also ran out and he was bold by Joginder Sharma. Score was 81 fo3 in 10th over. Indians went deep into troble again.

Bravo played a cameo innings and as we thought that he will sail Indians to victory, but script was written differntly he was out brilliantly flying catch by Oram. Oram bowling was not upto the mark, so he will be happy that he caught this catch at the cruical moment of the match. Harbhajan came to bat when the score was 141 for 6 and 16th over was running. It was a task which was very diffcuilt to achive when tail enders bat. Hold on match is not yet finished, its cricket and this T20, thing can happen anything and that same happend. Bajji hit the bowl all over the gorund for 3 sixes and 1 four. Super Kings were in trouble water suddenly, match was becoming very close one.

Thinging do change when you are chasing and when you dont have enough wickets in your hand. pressure was on both the sides. Muralitharan was introduced to do 19th over, Indians required 28 runs from 12 bowls. Bajji has to score maximum runs in this over to be in safe postion in next final over. So, he went behind Muralitharan's bowling. First 3 bowls went for just 4 runs. He has to hit big. Forth bowl bang for FOUR charges down the track and drills it through extra cover.

Then mind came started to play. Muralitharan pulls out again may because of ball slipped, as he came to bowl Harbhajan pulls away...This was monent, he bowled the 4th ball and Harbhajan is OUT Caught by Badrinath!! he came down the track and looks to go for six, but the bat turned in his hand and the ball skewed up towards mid on, Badrinath ran in, and latched the catch ( Harbhajan c Badrinath b Muralitharan 28(14) [4s-1 6s-3]).



That was a turning moment, dont you even think. Still lots more go to in final over. 19 required off the last over...And guess who's bowling the final over, yes it's that man Joginder T20 world Cup final over Hero. Nayar(Indian batsman) hit his first 2 bowls for 4's runs and 3rd bowl was a no ball + FREE HIT. Nayar ran one run and Nehra is on strike. 9 off 4 balls and this ball is a Free Hit, so Mumbai Indians have great chance to score runs but it was in vain. Nerha was not even able to connect his bat with the bowl and he was sturck in his play.

On the 4th ball Nerha took one run. Things gone in favour of Super Kings. 8 runs for 2 balls. Chandra Paul did few days back against SriLanka, but Nayar was not able to do, he was not able to put away 5th ball, no runs on that ball. Super Kings literally won. 8 runs in 1 ball. He was not able to connect properly and got only 1 run and Mumbai Indians fall 6 runs short to win a thrilling match. Luck is not favouring them but ofcourse it is very kind to Dhoni.

Crowds take a long breath and they are too happy, there home team has pull out a victory from the so close contested match. Super Kings has won 2 out of 2 matches and they are in 3rd place behind Knight Rider and Dare Devils in point table beacuse of runrate, points for all the 3 team are same 4 point. First round of the match has ended all the teams played one matches in there home truf.

This IPL matches is going well, 3 bottom lying teams has to pull up there socks and start opening there account in point table.
